Privacy policy
cunei is built privacy-first, and this site is too. The short version: to join the waitlist we collect one email address and an optional role tag — nothing else. The app itself has no cunei backend in the loop.
What this site collects
- Your email address, when you submit the early-access form, so we can email you in invite waves.
- An optional role tag (academic, legal, professional, or other) so we can lead launch emails with the features your cohort cares about.
That's the entire list. We don't ask for your name, company, or how you heard about us. Waitlist submissions are processed by our forms and email provider purely to deliver those invite emails, and are never sold or shared for advertising.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled, we use a cookieless, privacy-first measurement tool that records aggregate page views and a few interaction events (such as a waitlist submission). It sets no cookies, builds no cross-site profile, and cannot identify you. We never use Google Analytics or ad trackers.
How the cunei app handles your work
This describes the product you're joining the waitlist for:
- On-device by default. Quick rewrites and proofreading run on Apple's on-device models. That text never leaves your Mac.
- Bring your own key. The cloud lane uses your own provider key (Claude, GPT or Gemini). Your key calls the provider directly; your agreement for that usage is with the provider.
- No cunei server in the loop. There is no cunei backend that sees your documents, prompts, or API key. There's no server for us to leak.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your waitlist record at any time by emailing privacy@cunei.app.
Changes
As cunei moves from beta toward release, this policy will be updated and the date above will change. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
